The Future Yes But?
There comes a time,
When we are called to close our eyes to the future,
And appreciate the now,
To many the presence is not lived and appreciated,
Many are the times,
Because we are overwhelmingly focussed on our goals,
We evade the presence,
We keep looking for a better future,
Not realising that this expected future,
Has already arrived with us,
It is here,
By the time this future is materialsied,
If it is ever materialised as planned,
We are no longer in a position to accept it or welcome it,
Lord help us to appreciate the presence,
Appreciate the esence of the “now”
For it is only a true and honest harnessing of the presence,
That bears a tangilbe future,
May your grace be upon us all.
